No Work Corn on the Cob

A family recipe from Katie Roling.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Take the ear as is and put it in the mic for 3 min.
  2. Use pot holders or towel, it's hot.
  3. Put on cutting board. With a sharp knife, cut off the bottom of the ear, taking just a little corn with it.
  4. Grab the silk end (tight) and shake your ear of corn out the bottom. All cooked, no silk, no husking. Ready to butter, ready to eat. Yummmy!
  5. Tip: This works great to freeze your corn also. Cut off cob and bag, add 1 tsp. butter and freeze. It's all cooked so just thaw and heat.
