Ingredients

Directions

  1. If you have lots of potatoes try this.
  2. Peel and cook and mash and add your butter and milk and salt.
  3. Then get out the cookie sheets, put some wax paper on them and make potato patties - I get about 6 to a sheet. 1 or 1 1/2 thick and 3-4 inch round - use a wood spoon.
  4. Then put another wax paper and stack them in the freezer.
  5. In the morning I get out the freezer bags and bag them up.
  6. When you want quick mashed spuds just pop what you need in the mic - thaw and stir and get them hot to eat.
  7. Tip: I have found just spreading them on a sheet pan like brownies - marking off 12 squares and freeze, then turn over and push on bottom of pan and they will fall out, bag and freeze.
