Directions

  1. When you want nice boiled eggs like for deviled eggs for a party, the secret is not to boil them all at once. Leave lots of room to move around in the pan.
  2. Also add 1 tbsp. of salt to your water; they will peel better.
  3. Bring your water to a rolling boil, then cover, turn off heat, and wait 15-20 min.
  4. Then drain and cover with cold water, drain and cold water again. Your yolks will be a pretty yellow, not green, and hopefully all in the middle of the egg.
  5. Now while you're peeling these, put on another batch if need to.
  6. When cool, peel: crack the big end of the egg and use a thin small spoon upside down to get under the peel and lift off. Nothing hurts worse than eggshell under a fingernail.
  7. Tip: Have a great party and check The Tipster out for more useful ideas. Thanks!
